Please Pass the Dirt Flavored Broccoli

Manufacturers have come up with ways to artificially flavor medicine so that children will gladly consume it. Yet, in this 21st century we are still struggling to get our kids to eat their vegetables. Therefore, I have compiled a few ideas that if manufacturers were to use to artificially flavor vegetables, I know that kids would gobble them right up:

    • That is exactly what inspired me to write this! Yesterday, Cesar pulled out an old linty Cheerio from the couch and I told him to go throw it away but instead he popped it in his mouth and said, “Yummy!” Yet…I can’t get broccoli to pass through his little lips!!

    • Bency’s diet when he was 1-2 years old consisted mainly of boogers (this one may still be part of his daily nutrition) and dirt! He was the worst! Yesterday Cesar pulled out a linty Cheerio out of the couch and proceeded to pop it in his mouth and say, “Yummy!” And yes, I hang my head but Iris has consumed the gum from underneath a table a time or two! So disgusting!

  1. Cat-food flavored spinach for my household! My three year old is constantly pretending to be a cat. This might be the only way to get him to eat leafy greens! πŸ™‚
